Felicia Atkinson’s artistic practice brings together sound, visual art, and writing. As co-editor of Shelter Press, she is also responsible for one of the most exciting current labels and platforms for experimental music and the theory of listening. In her own music, she combines field recordings with instruments and poetry, placing a particular emphasis on silence, the unconscious, and the inaudible.

The second artist performing that evening is Papiro, an experimental musician and sound artist based in Basel. His influences span both avant-garde and popular music, which he transforms into hypnotic compositions using vintage synthesizers. His most recent release is Con Un Occhio Aperto on the Italian label Planam.
