For the December edition of our Listen! series, Oren Ambarchi and Limpe Fuchs will both bring collaboration projects to Kaserne. Fuchs has been active on international stages since the late 1960s, either solo or in collaboration with artists such as Friedrich Gulda or Mark Fell. At the heart of her work is a self-developed set of instruments made from found objects, which possess a sculptural quality. On this evening, she will use synthesizers and be accompanied by Berlin-based sound artist crys cole. Ambarchi is involved in various formations, including collaborations with Jim O’Rourke, Stephen O’Malley, and Charlemagne Palestine, and will bring Alf Jackson on drums.
