The first Listen! edition of the new year is dedicated to the wind instrument and its ability to create microtonal drone worlds in a double concert evening. In the case of Lukas de Clerck, who has just released an album on Stephen O'Malley's Ideologic Organ, this is the aulos, a double flute from ancient Greece that died out a thousand years ago. Axel Kolb, on the other hand, expands his trombone into an electro-acoustic instrument for measuring spaces and situations.
