The Contagious trio from the Berlin Echtzeit music scene combines trumpet (Sabine Ercklentz) and record player (Mieko Suzuki) with the self-built inside piano of Andrea Neumann, who teaches at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel. The music of Spanish composer and performer Clara de Asis is characterized by intuitive openness and great care for every single note, which includes active listening as part of the music-making process.
