The Last Egg tells the story of Miranda and Verena, two ovaries who have been regulars at the “Fallopian” bar for decades—until menopause signals the final act. With humor, candor, and tenderness, the play explores female libido, friendship, aging, and the physical changes of menopause. How do the two of them cope with the end of their (re)productivity? And what comes next?
