Land, Care, Resistance – Feminist Perspectives on the Food System
Food systems are not neutral supply structures, but rather an expression of social power relations: shaped by ownership, gender, labor, and access to resources. The Feminist Salon explores the role of FLINTA* people in the transformation of agriculture and food systems and examines the forms of care, community, and resistance that emerge from queer-feminist practices.
In projects such as community-supported agriculture, food cooperatives, or collectively organized farms, alternative models of production and supply are emerging that challenge patriarchal, capitalist, and heteronormative logics. The evening explores food systems as sites of political struggle and transformation—between care work and exploitation, between invisibility and self-organization, toward the preservation of the very basics.

The series is curated by Katha Baur, Caroline Faust, Franca Schaad, and Franziska Schutzbach.
