Work in progress: What happens when the body encounters the logic of the machine? When repetitive rhythm meets organic unpredictability, when rigidity reacts to elasticity, and structure to spontaneity?

In this project, Alma Toaspern explores the points of friction between industrial processes and physical presence. At the center are improvisation, sound composed of techno fragments, field recordings of machines, and sculptural costume objects that oscillate between stage props and a second skin.
