A playful game with everything found on stage—balls, ropes, packing paper, and a ladder. The crystal ball opens up the universe, and then the jumpsuit, miraculously brought to life, joins in the dance. A paper monster devours the rope, and the ladder serves more as a means to gain height.

Acrobatics expand the play: a ball rolls over the juggler’s head, neck, and arms and is balanced in every conceivable position; floor acrobatics flow in with a dance-like quality, and suddenly the focus is clearly and tangibly on balance.

Jeanine Ebnöther Trott creates connections between her artistic skills and the objects around her in an unpretentious and exceedingly elegant way. And when she suddenly transforms into a clownish character with a great need to communicate, you suddenly find yourself playing along with her!

Duration: approx. 60 min.

The Kaserne Basel presents dance me to the ball – A balancing act as part of ZIRKA ZIRKUS in collaboration with Station Circus
