A “gang of chicks” appears and draws you into their rhythm—or maybe not. Bold, fast-paced, and uncompromising, the performers take over the space. Blending contemporary dance, acrobatics, and physical theater, they create a provocative performance brimming with energy, humor, and urgency. “Parade d’intimidation aigre-douce” calls on us to no longer tolerate injustice and violence against bodies perceived as female* and/or racialized. A powerful, physical dance and theater performance about collective strength, anger, and resistance.
