Exercises in lying fallow - collective singing with megaphones
Rahel Kraft and Sylvi Kretzschmar share their feminist practice at the intersection of spoken word, live art, and music with megaphones in public spaces. With their nomadic choir “RIOTOUS,” they invite FLINTA* people to sing, make sounds, and raise their voices together about our constant busyness and functioning, about time justice and the longing for regeneration and time out. The workshop aims at transformation through vocal experiments, listening exercises, and breath and body work with the megaphone. “The Art of Fallow” enables an exchange about upheavals and breakdowns, about supposed gaps in one's CV, about exhaustion, departure, and rebellion.
