Women and Revolution – Reading and discussion with Shila Behjat

Journalist, publicist, and presenter Shila Behjat has produced a passionate and inspiring report in her second non-fiction book, Frauen und Revolution (Women and Revolution, 2025). Starting with women in Iran and Belarus, she explores the unique characteristics of female forms of protest, highlights the growing global connection between women's rights and democracy movements, and calls for feminist solidarity that transcends national borders. The discussion will be led by Franca Schaad, who is currently researching the contemporary history of the “New Right.”
