Open Call
Hello!
We’re looking for people from Basel and the surrounding area who are interested in the participatory theater project “People’s Council”—people who aren’t eligible to vote in Switzerland but want to get involved in politics or may already be doing so. The project focuses on the global impact of Basel’s pharmaceutical industry, and we’d like to involve people who live in Basel but come from countries where medications are hard to get or too expensive.
What do you need to bring to the table?
Curiosity, an interest in political and social issues, and a desire to be on stage.
Time for 3–5 rehearsals (all in the evening, by arrangement) and 5 performances (all in the evening, with one on Sunday in the late afternoon, December 9–13, 2026)
Age, gender, and nationality don’t matter. You simply do not have the right to vote in Switzerland.
Knowledge of German or English is a plus, but not required. If a translation is needed, we’ll do our best to make it happen.
What do we offer?
An exciting experience.
An interesting exchange with many other dedicated people participating in the project.
You’ll be compensated for your time.

Bonjour!

Was musst du mitbringen?
- 13.12.2026)
Was bieten wir?
