On December 1, ZischBar – Spezial will be dedicating the evening to World AIDS Day. In collaboration with Aids-Hilfe beider Basel, we are taking a stand for education, acceptance, and a respectful approach to HIV and AIDS.
World AIDS Day reminds us how important knowledge, prevention, and support are—and that people living with HIV should be able to lead lives free from exclusion and stigma.
The ZischBar and Aids-Hilfe beider Basel invite you to come together and engage in conversation. For greater visibility, fewer prejudices, and a society where respect is a given.

ZischBar
The LGBTQIA+ bar—located in the Kaserne Basel since the 1980s. Every Tuesday, the KaBar transforms into the popular queer ZischBar, inviting guests to enjoy a drink together or just hang out. In the summer, the atmosphere out on the terrace is one-of-a-kind; in the winter, it’s cozy inside! A portion of the ZischBar’s evening proceeds goes to habs queer basel, supporting their work to promote self-determined lives for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, trans people, intersex people, asexuals, pansexuals, and nonbinary people.
