Operating out of Basel and Berlin, WOODLAND Collective presents their second showcase at  Kaserne and has put together a diverse hip-hop line-up for the occasion. Chicago rapper Kene Ekwunife began performing under the stage name Kami in the early 2010s. As a founding member of the Savemoney collective, which also includes people like Chance the Rapper, he was part of a group of artists who wanted to explore the experimental and transgressive side of hip-hop. To this end, he recently collaborated with Grammy-nominated hit producer Smoko Ono and delivered Very Slight, an album that can be counted as a classic of recent Chicago rap history. The Swiss-Angolan singer, rapper, producer and instrumentalist Naim defies common categories. Postmodern aesthetics from internet culture literally collide with rock that doesn't want to be rock, the good parts of rap and the electronic music in the morning of a far too long night. ThiefInTheNight is one of the creative minds behind Woodland. Since his first tape Energy in 2021, it's been all forward. With crazy flows for the fans and catchy hooks for those who still want to be, Thief has come to stay.

DJs lolo & qpaem - fresh out the cut, hailing from Biel/Bienne and Basel, respectively, this dynamic duo is here to take you on an unforgettable musical journey that spans from afrobeats, amapiano to dancehall and hip-hop.
