Musically, cold February starts with an ambient gathering. The fourth edition of the Sunday Hideout series is curated by LOKD. The label and club collective based in Basel and Berlin have invited some new guests aboard a very unique acoustic experience. Leafar Legov and Elli, two musical entities attributed to the quality productions and ephemeral dream state of Giegling, are joining this auditory endeavor. Another new guest appointed for the lush listening experience is storyteller, sound artist, and DJ THY, a staple of the ambient music scene in Basel. Out of LOKD’s homegrown musical treasure, Avem has cooked up some new audible pieces to savour. Rounding things off are Nico and Alexander with an atmospheric, topographic analysis of the flora and fauna, which is their acoustic collaboration. 

The cold, the frost, the shine
of light in the morning dew.
The sun’s reflection, the warm touch,
breathing hot with cold lungs.
Pristine echoes of crisp frost crackling,
the sound grass makes when it thaws.
The low hum adjacent to this vista,
from a basement gig, or embracing company,
enticing offerings of a Sunday hideout.
