Greater Than One is a place where we’re reminded that, despite the world’s challenges, we are not alone. Through music, SHKOON brings us together to laugh, cry, be silent, feel close and drift away. It’s more than just a concert; it’s a chance to connect and feel the power of music that reminds us what it truly means to be human, even in tough times. We are happy to welcome you—together, we are greater than one.
This tour Shkoon announced a trippy and emotional musical journey reconnected to the sound Shkoon started with back in the days. Expect a seamless fusion of oriental melodies with deep house, dub, downbeat, and hip-hop influences—where piano, synths, percussion, and vocals collide in a sound that defies boundaries. Drawing from traditional folklore, they weave the past into the present, creating a bridge between old and new, where the future of music takes shape.
When SHKOON first began, there was no plan, only a love for music and a desire to tell stories. Over the years, they’ve discovered how music can build bridges and offer new perspectives. Through countless voices and stories, their music has grown into a message of unity. Today, as division and prejudice seem to rise, SHKOON feels an urgency to amplify this message of connection and empathy.
Their previous concept album, Masrahiya ("Theater Play"), took us on a journey through the blurred lines of reality and fiction. Now, they invite us to experience Greater Than One—not just a tour but a call to collective strength and understanding. This time, SHKOON goes beyond a single album, bringing spontaneity to their live performances to create a unique, shared space where every emotion is welcome.

WARM UP & AFTER PARTY:
DJ Anıl (jazzhane)
Co-founder of jazzhane, Anıl believes that his search for melancholy in music and the perception of home (or the lack thereof) is a search for belonging: a feeling that can be fictitious. Unsurprisingly, his eclectic sets heavily feature music in the minor key. Believing that stories are told through music, Anıl blends melodramatic tunes with the Andalusian cadence, Rumba, or Cumbia, accompanied by deep basslines. Depending on the night and setting, the stories can be dark, joyful, ecstatic, or humorous, oftentimes energetic and with explosive energy.
