Self-care/self-regulation and for activists

The effects of violence—such as anger, courage, grief, and helplessness—are examined in this feminist salon. Through mindfulness and deceleration exercises, bodywork based on biodynamic craniosacral therapy and osteopathy, as well as wild dancing, a theoretical part is experienced in which personal topics are given space and there is an opportunity to talk about experiences, exchange ideas, and develop strategies together in order to remain capable of acting within the community. In addition, the nervous system, including the sympathetic nervous system, the parasympathetic nervous system, and the social nervous system, will be examined. The community holds us together, but it needs care and mindfulness to stay connected to its own resources.

Hosted by Nicole Berndt-Caccivio, dancer and artist
