The squeaking of the streetcar, the splashing of the fountain, the chirping of birds - familiar everyday sounds become a lively composition of dance, painting, installation and choreographed gestures. Sound becomes visible and tangible.
In the lively Westfeld district, the mixed-abled group La SECOUSSE worked with deaf artists to explore how differently people perceive sound. The result is an invitation to experience noise, silence and sounds in a new way - and to become more aware of the subtle nuances. A vibrating counter-world in the middle of the city - and the audience right in the middle of it!
An open space for everyone, no matter how they listen.
The event takes place outdoors and is weather-dependent. Current information may be posted here.
Sign language interpreter (DSGS) on site after each show to support the conversation with the performers.
Meeting Point: Quartierzentrum Im Westfeld 30
