“Name violence, channel anger, unite in resistance.” How good are you at being angry? Do you boil over with rage? Or not even close?
What if anger were an animal in your belly? At the intersection of performance and workshop, hundertachtzig invites you to explore your own anger. We accompany you gently and safely through joint exercises and moments of observation. You can participate or simply follow the action. Protest-filled instructions, performative outbursts of anger, and blazing releases of air lead you into the core of your own anger.
There, it tenses, throbs, cracks, and gurgles. Deep in the nervous system, warning signals and the urgency of rebellion appear. Anger is the unstoppable engine that drives us to question the status quo and rebel. Because one thing is clear: there are plenty of reasons to be angry!

Performing Rage Kollektiv
The Performing Rage Collective works in a transdisciplinary manner, exploring anger, gender, and empowerment through performance as a method. In its work, the collective is interested in formats that lie between performance and research design. Bodies are not only a means of representation, but also become instruments of perception with which experiences and insights are generated. The Performing Rage Collective was founded in 2022 by Arina Frölich to approach her master's thesis in cultural anthropology and gender studies at the University of Basel with artistic research practices.
