There are songs that immediately conjure up a film in your mind's eye. And some video sequences have such a strong rhythm and vibe that you can almost hear the music. A good music video tells a story, evokes emotions, sets the stage for the music and lets it soar. And we think it is high time to speak about this at «Mitten In der Woche». We will chat with various musicians and video artists who create videos themselves or in collaboration with others.

Über Mitten in der Woche
Seit Herbst 2012 bietet Mitten in der Woche der Basler Band- und Musikszene einen Ort für Austausch und Experimente in ungezwungener Atmosphäre. Ursprünglich in der Kuppel beheimatet, findet die Reihe seit 2016 in der Kaserne Basel statt. Mitten in der Woche ist ein Abend von Musiker*innen für Musiker*innen und Musikliebhaber*innen, ohne Eintritt und der Unterstützung von der Kaserne Basel, Brocki Irma und Fred und dem Musikbüro Basel.
