The musician and painter Joanne Robertson is a high priestess of ambiguity. In their music, the boundaries between lo-fi improvisations, drones and singer-songwriter traditions blur and fit so well into our time precisely because of their negligent coolness. After some artistic collaborations with, among others, the great Dean Blunt (most recently Backstage Raver), a solo album was released with Blurrr, which she will present live in the barracks at her first Basel performance.
