A Letter in Time is a project that places the appreciation of personal roots and lived experiences at its center.
Diego, a non-binary artist from Bolivia, and Beatrice, a queer artist from Basel, write letters to their mothers and their children. By sharing these letters and thus their life stories, they interweave their lives — bridging generational, cultural, geographical, and ideological distances, both within their families and between each other.
Within a public sharing, they offer glimpses into their artistic development process.
