Derya Yildirim & Grup Simsek are internationally recognized since their start in 2014 for their unique and infectious sound that combines Anatolian folk with psychedelia, pop and soul influences. The band consists of Berlin-based singer and baglama player Derya Yildirim, keyboardist Graham Mushnik, guitarist/flutist Antonin Voyant and drummer Helen Wells.

Before the concert, Basel-based DJ Emel will play some treasures from her acclaimed collection of rare soul records. Listen to her set at jazzhane in Zürich on London's NTS Radio.

After the concert, jazzhane invites you to the after party with the DJs Yüksel & Anil Özdemir in the neighboring Renee Bar.

Two days before the show, you can take part in a workshop with Derya at Kaserne.
