Fetching prices
A choir that is no longer a choir meets on stage.
Nothing happens. A harsh landscape. And then, very quietly, someone begins to sing. Memories surface—of songs, mountains, and the sea.
A group forms.
How does community arise? How do we encounter each other in a world riddled with lines of conflict, and how do we stand by each other as friends?
Klapa is practiced in the community, usually in a group of friends who spend time together and sing.
Patricija Katica Bronić and her team move between performance and concert in KLAPA. Using the singing forms of the Dalmatian klapa (English: “club/group of friends”) and Swiss yodeling, they begin a performative dialogue between cultures and people.

Biography
Patricija Katica Bronić works as an actress and director. After studying Theatre and Media at the University of Bayreuth and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, she trained as an actress at the Bern University of the Arts and graduated with a Master's degree in ‹Expanded Theatre› in 2018. After her first permanent engagement as an actress at the Junges Nationaltheater Mannheim and her own work with BRONIĆ/RÖHRICH, she now works both in the independent scene and at the municipal theatre. She develops works for young audiences and for adults, alone and in co-creation. Patricija uses both fictional and biographical approaches. Her play ‹Diese Nachricht wurde gelöscht.›, which she developed together with Timon Jansen, was shown at ROXY Birsfelden, Fabriktheater Zürich and Schlachthaus Theater Bern. The production deals with the silence of absent fathers in a form of hero's journey. Her productions are characterised by strong atmospheric imagery and emotionally sensitive narration. Patricija is a scholarship holder of the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation for Performing Arts 2022. Her production ‹UNTER DRACHEN› was nominated for the German Faust Theatre Prize 2023 in the category Production for Young Audiences. She made her debut at Theater Basel 2025 with the production ‹Wer bremst, bleibt›.
