A choir that has long since ceased to exist meets on stage. Nothing happens. Silence. And then, very quietly, someone begins to sing. Memories surface—of songs, mountains, and the sea. A group forms into a polyphonic choir. But how does community arise? And how do we reinvent traditions?

In KLAPA, Patricija Katica Bronić moves between performance and concert. Using the singing styles of the Dalmatian klapa (English: “club”) and the Swiss yodeling style Zäuerle, she initiates a performative dialogue between cultures and people.

I kako možemo izumiti nove tradicije?
