Ali Doğan Gönültaş sings and plays tembur and acoustic guitar. He grew up in Kigi in eastern Anatolia in an Alevi family for whom music was an essential means of passing on the history of their people. The emotions of his expressive voice, the dreamy melodies and the profound poetry of his debut album Kigi and the follow-up Keyeyî come to life on stage in a lively and multi-faceted way.
