An auto-fictional performance about queer family fantasies.

After the successful premiere at Treibstoff Theatertage, Eevi Kinnunen and Olivia Ronzani are back to present their performance about queer family fantasies. Two performers embark on a mission to make a baby. Moving through each other's minds and talking through their bodies, they tell a love story reaching towards the baby - empathic, care-taking, rough and soft. They embody and deconstruct images of family in search for one that feels their own. Eevi, Olivia and Baby fall in and out of love and back again as they navigate utopias, biological barriers, political uncertainties and societal expectations of family. A Long Story About Our Baby is a touching auto-fictional performance piece and embodied storytelling, where a space opens up for dreaming and re-romanticising a queer experience of family.

Content notice: The show contains stage fog, theatrical blood, nudity and flashing lights. Some scenes may evoke associations of miscarriage, which may be uncomfortable for some audience members.

The show is in english, german translation available on paper.

Duration: ca. 70 Min.
