Something wants to be let out. Something wants to be let out. Something wants to be let out. On the line between the impulsive and compulsive, this dance finds itself. Perhaps our living reality is here, where perpetual emergence takes place.  

This work-in-progress is part of the three-month residency research by Toan Doan on the intersection between the choreographic and freedom of speech. Inspired by the strategies of Vietnamese avant-garde poetry, Toan contemplates the unsolid conditions of the body, whose impositions always confront its lust for life.

Toan Doan is a choreographer based in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. In their works, Toan contemplates the socio-political context of Vietnam and queerness.
