Thom Luz, the melancholy artificer of musical theatre, stages a «tourist trap» of the kind we sometimes encounter in our mountains. It resembles one of those rare and unusual attractions, one that has become as artificial as it is natural by dint of being promoted. On stage, a group manages the site, restoring and embellishing it, trying out new music and optical effects to attract onlookers between appearances of the phenomenon. As if by surprise, mass tourism invents a paradoxical dialogue with our all too precious capacity for wonder... A new poetic and musical creation skilfully composed by Thom Luz and his troupe.

«Thom Luz is a director who could stage even a cookbook.» (Marina Davydova, Leitung Schauspiel Salzburger Festspiele 2024)

Duration: Ca. 80 Min.
