„Brave Space“ with invited guests and Stammtisch participants
Participation by registration only: Registration form
Based on experiences of (self-)censorship and political pressure, the genocide in the Gaza Strip recognized by the UN Human Rights Council, and against the backdrop of general polarization, international power politics, calls for boycotts, and demands for solidarity, we, the Swiss dance and theater scene, ask ourselves: How can we act in solidarity, engage in open dialogue, and ensure artistic freedom?
The realities of life in Palestine and Israel, the human rights violations there, and anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim violence in Europe concern us as artists, venues, and funding institutions in various ways. The roundtable discussion is intended to be an opportunity to talk about how we as artists can act in this situation and develop joint strategies that preserve the integrity of dance- and theater professionals and cultural institutions.
