Curated by OKRA Collective members KA-RABA and FONCÉ in collaboration with Kaserne Basel, Sunday Hide Out offers a unique opportunity to pause, connect, and engage in meaningful exchange. Far from the energy of a party, this gathering creates a space for dialogue and reflection around themes of Black subjectivity, spirituality, and collective experience from an Afro-diasporic lens. For this special edition, we are thrilled to welcome an inspiring lineup of artists:

Hans Arsen (also known as MC Oxxy) is a Congolese writer, singer, and producer currently based in Barcelona, with roots in Italy. Known for his genre-defying approach to music, Hans blends a variety of styles, refusing to be confined to any single category as both an artist and producer. After the release of his debut EP, Liquid—produced by Reptlian Expo—Hans began to delve deeper into his artistic journey, using his music as a means of self-exploration. His personal struggles and significant life events have led him to confront both the light and dark aspects of his identity, resulting in a more introspective and raw creative output. With a focus on vulnerability and authenticity, Hans Arsen continues to evolve as an artist, pushing the boundaries of his sound and connecting with listeners on a deeply emotional level.

Exhibition by BraidedByGode: What Does Love Mean to You? is a captivating project created by Godeliv, the visionary behind BraidedByGode, who brought together a talented team to work on this vision. This project uses cornrow designs to showcase love in all its forms—romantic, familial, and platonic. The cornrows act as a symbol, tying together the different ways love is expressed. The photos in this project capture the beauty and diversity of Black love, showing heartfelt, intimate moments. Each image celebrates the unique strength and richness of Black relationships, highlighting the many ways love is shared and experienced. As a way to make the experience even more personal, the project introduces the card game What Does Love Mean to You? which is designed to deepen connections between partners, friends, and family by encouraging meaningful conversations. With 50 thoughtfully crafted questions about love, the game promotes reflection, understanding, and open communication—inviting players to share heartfelt responses and strengthen their bonds. Together, the exhibition and card game invite everyone to explore and celebrate Black love, creating a space for connection and reflection.
