After an extensive summer festival tour, rising choreography star Jeremy Nedd returns to Kaserne Basel at the start of the new season, leading us through distant galaxies and the intricate journeys of the Black diaspora and Afrofuturism. He is once again teaming up with the South African collective Impilo Mapantsula. They perform Pantsula, a dance style renowned for its rapid, virtuoso footwork that gave voice to an entire generation during the apartheid years. The cosmic soundtrack features the spiritual jazz of Bheki Mseleku and Alice Coltrane.

Duration: approx. 60 minutes
