Shanghai-born producer and visual artist 33EMYBW has been active in the Chinese music scene for over a decade. Influenced by contemporary electronic music, traditional music styles, visual art and science fiction, her sound moves between highly individualised low-frequency grooves and complex drum patterns. In her showing, she provides insight into her sound archaeology and encounters alternative concepts of nature that incorporate radically post-human and marginalised perspectives.
